Our winter here in Tampa Bay has been extremely mild and the water temperature has stayed right around the 70 degree mark. The redfish bite has been extremely good 2-3 days after a front when the barometer stabilizes and around the big low tides in the morning. With the water temperature being unseasonably warm, the bait never disappeared. So throwing your weightless baitfish imitations has been the ticket for me and my customers this February. Snook Fishing will only get better with the rising temperatures along with tarpon. We can expect to see more and more tarpon towards the middle of March.
